Workshop Chaos, Perfect Order

Workshop Chaos, Perfect Order

People think glamour happens in front of the camera. It does not. It happens here — fabric everywhere, armour props leaning against the wall, half-finished sleeves pinned to a mannequin that has seen things.

This is my cosplay workshop in Liverpool. Chaos to anyone else. Perfect order to me. Every bolt of latex, every gothic trim, every hour spent getting a neckline to sit exactly right across my chest — it is all for the moment someone sees me and forgets how to speak.

I do not need to work. I need to create. And when the creation is done, I need to wear it somewhere loud, public, and full of hungry eyes. Comic-Con season cannot come soon enough.
